Do a Yahoo image search for 'Great White Shark' and you'll find this same photo of the shark, sans the divers. I had it as my wallpaper for quite a while. Masterful job on editing in the people, though!

Great photo - though I have to caution that it is probably fake (though I could be wrong).

Reason I say that: if divers were in Australia in area where great whites actually live (in far south where the seals, their food, live - in waters much like California coast with cold water, kelp, etc.), they would be wearing a lot thicker wetsuit or dry suits, hoods, gloves, etc. because the water there is damn cold. Whites do not live up in the Great Barrier Reef, where most divers in Australia go (that's where my wife and I dove when we were there). That is not to say a white would never ever go up to warmer waters, but my understanding is that is very rare (their main food, seals, live in cold water in south).

I would be interested to see if the son who apparently sprinted to the surface in fear after taking the photo did OK as such an action would (unless he was close to surface already) would be extremely harmful to your health (that's how you get the bends, which can do serious health damage).

Hey! I definately know its real. How could it not be? The photo shows his teeth up close and the one with the divers doesn't.
